ANTPER 208 #1 Posted July 19 Hello I removed a pulley and center spindle. Upon putting back together with top nut fully tightened my pulley rests up against spindle mount bolts of spindle and wont turn. Did I lose a washer or o ring that may be needed between the pulley and spindle body? The parts diagram I have really doesn't give me a clear view. I'm leaning towards an o ring I may have lost upon tapping shaft through pulley. TIA Anthony

Second, there are at least 2 different designs of these, one with a keyed slot and the other without, and they could be different as far as pulley design, spacers, etc. Also, any possibility that you have the pulley upside-down on re-assembly? Not sure if this is helpful at all - this looks like the non-slotted style: I can't look right now but I have a full set of these (the slotted kind) in my garage that are not installed in a deck yet and I could look later this morning and take a picture. I also have a deck that has the non-slotted style installed, which I need to remove and replace but the pulleys are giving me a lot of resistance to take off...

I was able to tap down on spindle shaft and pulley slide off.
ANTPER 208 #4 Posted July 19 Mine is keyless. Shaft slide off by tapping down on shaft. I see #19 listed and above it shows a spacer or washer but diagram doesn't mention what it is.

But it shows some sort of washer or spacer of some sort above 19 but no description of what it is. I did find a spacer that is same diameter as spindle shaft and same width as pulley bushing riding against it. I installed it and it clears the mount bolts. Still have to install deck on to tractor and give it the test.
