PETE will be proud

I finally did an oil rehab on my 416h. Pete finally talked me into it.   Does look a lot better.  Also did a foot pedal control upgrade. Jury still out on whether I like the foot control or not.  Nothing wrong with the product what so ever just personal preference

That seat looks really nice on that 400 Series :handgestures-thumbupright:  I have mixed feelings about that style of foot control as well.

Took some massaging to get it how I wanted it. I wanted to retain the adjustment so with a little time and a few iterations I finally am happy with it.  As far as the foot control I’m having a hard time getting it adjusted to it returns to nuetral soon as you let off.  Install wasn’t bad at all just not there yet I guess

@Tonytoro416  note 2nd 3rd photo down ?  attaché a small extension spring from pto swing arm , down to clip to frame hitch pin clip ? that tension eliminates buzzing in linkage set up  . that heim joint also  enhances any related function , very easy over threading  on end of lever shaft , original thread , 3/8 x16  change to 3/8 x 24 , allows heim joint   to  screw right on , have that same set up on my 3 horses , years in use , incredibly  smooth / silent , easy to use , the REPITITION OF A PROBLEM IS YOUR GREATEST OPPORTUNITY TO MAKE THAT PROBLEM GO AWAY , paint it red / black , it disappears , pete

That is a sharp looking machine. Dirty or clean!

Those foot pedals should have a return spring setup. Probably just needs cleaning and adjusting.

I cobbled mine up from a Kubota mower. It has no return to center (other than the left pedal like all other hydros) but I find if your whole foot rests on the pedal, getting quick responses are much easier.

The assembly on top of rear end is my best guess.  Seems it should be clean enough as I keep I fairly clean and greased   But may need a deep dive. Does have spring return setup

Here are some pictures of my third and latest foot pedal design.  I personally hate the hand controls and will never go back.

I did see a post where someone had to add a stiffer spring to get the foot pedal to return to neutral.   If your hand control is still connected, try disconnecting it and see if it returns to neutral properly as something could be binding.
