There's a bustle in the horse stall

Well I have been working hard this week to get stuff done for the Steam O Rama. The first was the D-250. It had 150 hours on the oil and needed changed. The oil pan gaskets busted out as well. So some stuff was done.

Chrome valve cover added:

New oil filter and oil:

A good check of internal parts since the oil pan was removed:

Fixed the tow hitch to lift more weight.......

...To haul around Tractordave3128's RJ-58:

And just for Chits and Gigs a temporary hood:

The RJ-35 vari speed is coming together after I gathered the parts:

I picked up these NOS lights online. Exactly the same as the Peterson 401:

And made a light bar for them:

Next week the vari speed will be finished and the Suburban 550 and RJ-58 (mine) hood will be refinished.

All in time for the Steam O Rama.

Nice work Charlie. :scratchead:

If you happen to see a "Cyclops" light (HL-6) at Steam-O-Rama give me a call. I'm looking for one.

You have to rifle drill a piece of bolt stock and weld a jam nut on.

Got the RJ-35 vari speed done today. I worked on it for 3 hours and now it is done. The bracket that holds the vari is completly fab'd to factory specs. WORKS GREAT!!!

Here's the bracket:
