16 inch blades

Recommended Posts

herwin

Hello, I am new here and from Holland.

Anybody knowing where i could buy new 16 inch blades for my a800 with side discharge deck?

My search on the net and with our local lawnmower dealer didn't find anything.

The only site we could find is in france......they don't send it to Holland.

Welcome to Red Square.

Click on the fuzzy picture to see original blade numbers.

Hope I have the correct deck.

There was a seller at the Wheel Horse Collectors Club “Big Show” a couple of weeks ago with a pretty good assortment of NOS deck blades. He isn’t a vendor on this Red Square forum.

You might try to contact him and see if he has what you need and is willing to ship to the Netherlands.

Do you know what the mounting center hole is like? 3/4" round or a 5/8" x 3/4" double-D shape?

There may be blades for another brand that may work.

Do the clippings exit the right side of the mower? Wheel Horse did have some decks where the grass exited on the left side and required blades that turn counter-clockwise.

It´s double D shaped blades, grass exit is on the right hand.

There are no numbers on the deck anymore.

If the "Double D" blades are unavailable locally and the shipping from the US isn't practical you may be able to find a later model deck that uses the 3/4" round hole blades.

:text-yeahthat:  Think it might be possible to change the spindles to a 3/4" version?

The more I Iook at your deck the more I think it is a later version like the 37" decks we have but a 32" version. The right spindle is located behind the left spindle.

If that is the case a different blade is used than listed for the above deck. Does it look like this one? These blades are still available from Toro but they are very proud of them.

106163 is the 16" blade.

If you can find longer double D blades they can be cut to size.
