Is the governor just out of adjustment? Only one way to change the governor gear on a Kohler K-model engine. You have to disassemble the entire engine. It is the last thing removed and the first thing installed. The Kohler manual does an excellent job of walking you through tear down and build up. https://resources.kohler.com/power/kohler/enginesUS/pdf/tp_2379.pdf Edited July 1 by Achto
Scott from ontario 3 #3 Posted July 1 The motor dies when under load cutting grass thought the governor was gone took the motor apart and looks good to me not sure if something is missing can’t find a good diagram of it
Scott from ontario 3 #4 Posted July 1 Is there a spring on the governor or ball bearing in it. I’m asking because there is no spring on it and no ball bearings in it also just want to make sure it is good before I put it back in
