FLtractor 49 #1 Posted Monday at 02:19 AM Came across a different Wheelhorse on marketplace and seller said it will be at threshers in Denton NC through July 4th.. is that a Wheelhorse show?
wallfish 17,953 #2 Posted Monday at 02:34 AM Not a WH only show as the only WH specific show is the WHCC PA show. But people do bring WH tractors to just about every engine/tractor show. Most likely it's a general engine tractor show but they're worth going to as you never know what you're going to see. Look it up online as they should most likely have a show flyer
Pullstart 66,370 #3 Posted Monday at 09:16 AM We went to the Carolina Pickers show at the Denton Farmpark last year. It was a very cool place! I’d like to get there for the Threshers show some day! 1 1
953 nut 59,554 #4 Posted Monday at 11:02 AM That is one of the biggest shows in the south east and well worth attending. I would put it right up there with the Florida Flywheelers show.

How is the parking situation and hotel filled during events ? THAT kind of big attendance? Is Denton a small town? Anything else to do there you’d recommend? Mike in NC 342 #8 Posted Wednesday at 02:13 AM I went one time and will not go back. They are some of the rudest people I have ever incountered. I have friends that have attended Denton for years as exhibitors and they say that this was their last year. They are a rip off.

It is a pretty big show and they have alot of very cool antique machines. The few times I've been there was only a few Wheel Horses there, but they are around. And I'm always complaining about the heat I know but it's about the hottest place on earth! ...And that is why I haven't been the last few years! If I had one complaint it isn't the heat. Once you bring in a tractor, you can't move it again until you leave. The only motorized method of travel is an electric wheelchair or golf cart- both of which require handicap tags to operate. And it is a very large fair ground. It's a long walk everywhere... Edited Thursday at 05:03 AM by kpinnc

Most definitely does not have the fun and friendly atmosphere of the PA show. About everything I asked about got a "No" response. Felt like I was in elementary school again. Lee1977 7,159 #11 Posted Thursday at 05:49 AM (edited) The only time I've been there I went with my friend that was doing them favors for free. We still had to pay to get in. Bill built this wood engine and ran it at the show for a two years that was about five years ago. .It's in the building with the old radios and appliances about center back up close to the ceiling. He made them a wood sign for something. Bill died of cancer last year, I have his Wheel Horse. Edited Thursday at 04:19 PM by Lee1977

One show they are threatening to not allow dogs any more so might be our last year there. On a lighter note ... lets see you build a hit n miss like that out of toothpicks @wallfish ! 1

So from the pictures of the PA show, seeing tractors driven … can someone drive their Wheelhorse or tractor around as a mode of transportation and be better advertise it for sale? Yep Cruising around is half the fun. Run it through the parade and make your sales pitch during the interview which is over the loud speaker! I leave stuff out in the parked van just so I can purposely blast a ride on that motorcycle back and forth 7 hours ago, WHX?? said: On a lighter note ... lets see you build a hit n miss like that out of toothpicks @wallfish ! I would need a real one to take apart just to see how all off the parts and pieces work together and how they're connected. Does it need to run? LOL
