Teddy da Bear62 99 #1 Posted June 29 (edited) I bought 3 NOS deck shells at auction a while back. I'm going to just make a nice useable deck for myself. All I need is to purchase new spindles. I'm going to buy a set from 8ten. Can anyone tell me the correct 8ten spindle that is equivalent to the original spindle found on wheel horse 48" deck? I'm guessing the deck is late 70's. No tag on it. Edited June 30 by Teddy da Bear62
Lee1977 7,190 #2 Posted June 30 I have a 75-48MSO1 deck I have had Double DD, 3/4" keyed and it now has Metric spindles. They all fit and bolt up in the same holes. I have looked a the 8 ten spindles, looks like there isn't a double pulley, so you will have to get it some where else. I would buy the set for the 42" deck and speed the deck up a little. Teddy da Bear62 99 #4 Posted June 30 (edited) Wow! All the info fit to print but we're afraid to ask! It tells me all I want to know about the 48" deck makeup over the years. But not a cross reference to what 8ten has. Guess I will compare for myself. I have never understood the term "double d". Can you clarify it?
