Teddy da Bear62 107 #1 Posted June 25 I put this photo up years ago, for identification. No one could identify it. Thought I would try it again. What is it? "Belt cover" or "Cover" isn't specific enough. I do not know what it is, other than appears wheel horsie. 🐎
ebinmaine 73,576 #2 Posted June 25 I can't identify it myself but I'm curious. Do you have the dimensions and materials?
Handy Don 14,250 #3 Posted June 25 IMHO, not a Wheel Horse. Maybe from a 60’s Farmall?

I have Cub Cadet, Snapper, and JD parts in my inventory. More than once I’ve seen an interesting part at a sale and bought it thinking “Hmmm, that piece might come in handy for something." Here’s a Google “search by image” result Edited June 25 by Handy Don
Stepney 2,354 #7 Posted June 25 Almost reminds me of the belt covers old Woods or other brand belly mowers came with, that went over the rear pulley and 540 pto of .. say, a Cub LoBoy or some such. Color sure seems WH but not the shape of anything I've seen before on one.

It still didn't show a match as you can try it yourself, if you have a smart phone and Google. It's called "Google Lens" Open Google and look for this little icon to the right in the search bar. Click the icon and take a pic off the computer screen if you're using a PC to view RS. Or take a pic of the actual part. "teach a man to fish" LOL
Handy Don 14,250 #12 Posted June 26 (edited) Sorry, I didn’t realize that the image search results link times out. Try this link? The result is a page full of thumbnails with links. . Of course, you can Google “Google Image Search” and learn how to do it. Edited June 26 by Handy Don

I tried using A.I. to resolve its identity. No luck.
oliver2-44 10,830 #14 Posted June 26 Take a picture showing the notches side and top and submit it to Google Lens. The notches side is what's not clear , so its not being pulled up in the google lens search. AI is only as Smart as we Lead it
