520 H Deck Lift Arm

Recently purchased a 95 520 H but is missing the mower deck lift arm. Can a lift arm from a earlier WH, say a 312 work. What do you experts say?  Parts tree list different numbers for a 95 520 compared to a earlier WH.

Yes. I have one from a 312-8 on my 520. As long as it's one from a long frame garden tractor early C-series, black hoods, 300s 400 or 500s. it will work. Don't loose the bushing or the E-clip when you take it off.

Mine was still there when I got it, but someone had attached the chain too short and it was broken.

A 520-H should have hydraulic lift. No deck lift arm needed...

 

Only the 520-8 has a manual lift arm.

He called it a lift arm. I though he was talking deck lift attached to the frame. It could easly be missing.

They are the same between all the 300, 400, 500 series.

 

Some 520's had a stronger version but it will interchange and is the same size.

 

Your 520 came with one like this with the separate pivot pin.

 

Other models came with this where the pivot pin is welded to the bar.

 

You can use either one.

OK thanks for the info. Some parts info say bar or arm it is the part that connects to mower deck to lift it up. Your pictures describe it perfectly. Thanks so much. Every one is such a big help when a question is raised.
