Do any of you experts out there know how the momentary switch  works and the proper orientation of wires to it.  Traying to get the system working on my 418A.

Part number could be 111353 or 111346. Click on the picture for more and take the part numbers with you. The poor parts list we have does not tell us what models use what switch and the parts list is shared with 8hp, 10hp, 12hp, 14hp, 16hp and 18hp models.

You may figure it out by the number of wires and colors.

This should help because the wires were removed, and I had no idea what goes where.  I assume the switch puts battery voltage to circuit board to test the bulbs ? Do I assume correctly?

The switch description

Momentary double pole single throw

Like 2 switches in one (double pole) and a single action closes the 2 switches.

Momentary is the switch returns to OFF on it's own.

This could be a toggle or push button style.

Check with one of our venders for a used switch.

(Double throw switch has ON-OFF-ON toggle positions)

Not quite, some of the lights have 12 volts supplied to them and are seeking a ground which is provided by the test switch. Others have a ground provided and are seeking 12 volts to operate. That is why it is a Double Pole switch.

Call Lincoln at A to Z Tractor, he probably would have a good used one https://www.a-ztractor.com/

You can check with K&B, they have all kinds of NOS parts.  https://www.wheelhorseforum.com/classifieds/vendors/kb-wheelhorse-parts/
