"Manic-Mechanic" 1,249 #1 Posted May 28 (edited) I originally planned to buy the engine (M14), however it was still attached to the frame! Then the owner informed me there was what remained of the tractor in a pull cart! All for 50! So after separating the frame and getting it loaded up on the old Dodge, (no wheels), I get ‘r home. Now it sits with a pair of old Sears front wheels and Jack stands in the rear. Yes, I am now inclined to fix this one! A basic clean up of the carb, a starter (which was on the shelf new) and letting oil soup outta the block, I fired it up on carb cleaner. To my amazement it lives! About 7 bolts later I will be able to move it around. Engine off and awaiting isolaters! I know everyone has seen M14 but had to post pictures! Yes, the sickness sets in, already looking for the brinley and it isn’t even moving on it’s own! Edited May 28 by "Manic-Mechanic" 2
Achto 29,229 #2 Posted May 28 Luckily the engine that you wanted was in a newer Ford chassis. In some of the older Fords with Kohler K models, the engine oil pan was actually part of the chassis.

I have a Snapper/Massey 1650 which has a K341, now I want to have a closer look at that as the isolators are due Edited May 28 by "Manic-Mechanic"
