Governor Springs

Recommended Posts

wind77west

I have a 1642 Workhorse with a Briggs & Stratton 402417-0665 01 horizontal 2 cylinder engine. I was having issues with it running and decided to clean the carb/fuel pump. First mistake was not taking a picture of the carb. and governor springs. You may see where I am going. The governor springs came off (both the governor spring and the governor idle spring). I have search the internet and have found nothing to show me the factory location connections points. I am hoping someone out there could help me either a sketch, picture and or link to show there connections points. Whatever help you can give me I thank you.
