Kohler M14AQS Sump Change

Recommended Posts

"Manic-Mechanic"

I have a wonderful M14 off a Ford/New Holland LGT14

Thing is it has a weird combination of sump & block which I would like to change

Can a regular oil sump be installed on this block, along with the dipper of course!

That Ford LGT145 uses a narrow big block. wheel Horse C Series 1975 and later used the narrow block. There is a thread pinned under the Engines sections that’s discusses blocks and oil pans

I'll take that as a simple, "yes”.

i know the parts are interchangeable between K & M series, but the flange on the M14 block through me.

I started to search for the pinned post  but not making much headway, there’s over 300 posts!

Thanks

953 nut

:twocents-02cents:  Just get the shaker plate mounts from a Wheel Horse (1978 to 1984) that used a K-xxxAS engine and use the pan that is on the M14AQS engine.
