dirtywaterdiver 2 #1 Posted May 23 So had a pulley break off it's center hub section. The hub portion is still bolted to the spindle. What am I missing, have not found a hole to shove a screwdriver into, how do I stop the spindle from turning so I can remove the nut and swap in a new pully. dirtywaterdiver 2 #6 Posted May 24 I tried a block of wood and my impact. It was an awesome way to quickly uninstall the blade. LOL
dirtywaterdiver 2 #7 Posted May 27 There are NO flat spots on the spindle for a wrench. Nowhere in those manuals does it have instructions for removing a spindle shaft.
Ed Kennell 41,789 #8 Posted May 27 OK, use a chain, strap, or pipe wrench on the pulley OD. No big wrench, weld a bar to the pulley. No welder, drill two holes for pins spanner wrench style.
