Easton Rich 580 #1 Posted May 22 I’ve got a TON of leftover parts from other builds, so I got to looking and I have almost everything I need! I’ve already got what I don’t have covered and I’m just waiting on some shop space. Once I get that it will be sent off to be sandblasted. I’ve seen some neat colors of red out there, and I can’t powder coat so if you could recommend cool shades of red PAINT that would be fantastic!

c-series don 9,630 #7 Posted May 23 I usually use sunrise red. Maybe it’s just me but it seems the last tractor I restored, my C-175 is a bit more orange than my C-161 I restored. I’ve yet to park them side by side. Although I’m happy with the results, I kinda wish the 175 was a shade darker. But it’s done and I’m not painting it again!! 2
Pullstart 65,456 #8 Posted May 23 Cool plan! What do you have set aside for the sheet metal to blend the square hood and round fenders? https://www.wheelhorseforum.com/topic/75987-and-now-on-to-the-last-haul-of-the-big-show-jadas-barney-fife/?page=2&tab=comments#comment-860822

Lee1977 7,104 #10 Posted May 23 (edited) I used Rust-oleum Farm & Implement IH Red on my Raider. Used a 12 dollar Harbor Freight gun with Acetone and Hardener at 40 PSI. Can say all HF spray guns are great, but that one is.. I bought two If them the other one is still in the box. I also painted my truck with that gun the paint was a bit higher around $140 a quart with the thinner and hardener. Edited May 23 by Lee1977 1

Yeah I gotta tell you it just looks terrible.... 6 hours ago, slim67 said: I like this no matter what Same here. It cures a bit slower, but has higher gloss content. 3 hours ago, Lee1977 said: also painted my truck That truck looks even better in person.
