Hello to all looking to see what a (use to be) a show room condition 14 hp Kohler engine is worth

i had it 16 years setting in building, when I bought it I had to add oil,gas, and + — cables to it  just to see if it started   It did and did not use it for my wheelhouse now want to sell

still looks new

I would say your engine is worth $300-$400 if you find a buyer who wants showroom condition. That buyer would likely be doing a restoration vs a ‘spruce up’ which is what most of us do. I have a fully running 14hp with the complete wiring system, gauges and key switch still wired in that I wouldn’t sell for less than $200. Pictures of mine below.
