I had never heard that the C stood for “Custom”, always thought it was just as simple as A, B, C, D

You're correct. That's not Custom. 

 

I commented on the video.  

 

"Custom" designated the use of a Tecumseh engine.  1974 and 75 only, and only in the C120. 

 

My C160-8 Tecumseh engine tractors are not "Customs" or labeled for the public in any way.

How about that AI generated cover photo? Never seen one of those either. Looks like some kind of blend of all the above.

I will say those old sears machines were pretty dag gone good. Had heavy transmission with hi / lo ranges. Not as easy to install implements as WH. Over all a robust machine.

Just another YouTube word salad with inaccurate or useless information.  If one were to do the work and present the best of each brand and report accurate information on each, then that would be a good video.
