Bendix Gear/ Starter Problems 1984 Work Horse GT-1600 Tein Briggs

Yep flywheel or starter has to come off. A Briggs vert I had it was easier to take the flywheel off or it was the wheel had to come off to get the starter out I CRS. Regardless I go for the fly wheel to inspect the stator and clean back there. 

Plastic but I think that's the way they all are.
