Treepep 656 #1 Posted April 27 We know the the use 3/8 pneumatic impact. GP is a brand I looked up a while back. I still use it. The other is similar in construction. A different brand i think. I would like to rebuild both. Any thoughts? Both have some hard miles. One doesn't do reverse anymore and worn enough it will fling sockets. Looking for parts. c-series don 9,751 #3 Posted April 27 That’s definitely what CP stands for. Chicago Pneumatic. I have the 1/2” and 3/4” drive impact guns made by them. Lord knows how old they are? They were old when I got them and I’ve had them for 30 years, and they still work fine.
adsm08 2,941 #4 Posted April 27 One is a Chicago Pneumatic for sure. Grey Pneumatic is also a company, but their logo is different. The other one might be an old IR, but with no stamping and so much of the label gone it's hard to say. Flinging sockets is usually a worn nose ring, which are pretty universal and can be gotten just about anywhere. I buy them from my Snappy dealer because he keeps them on his truck. I believe Amazon, eBay, and Ohio Air Tool will all carry them as well.
