Recommended Posts

I had taken my WH apart to do some cleaning and in putting everything back together the forward/reverse lever isn’t functioning properly.
seems basic, I put the metal bar back in the L fitting hole and reinstalled the sensor unit.
not working properly. See pics

any help is appreciated!

What exactly is the problem?  You are showing the lift linkage and the problem is stated to be forward and reverse.  Is the pin still in the forward/reverse shaft and thru the lever that operates the bar going rearward below the switch mounting plate?

Sorry for not being clear.  The pin is in the L bracket hole which is underneath, the metal rod that is shown is inserted in the slot below the metal contact point.  The issue is the Lever on the right side of the tractor wheel doesn't slide correctly Up or Down.

I think I figured out what it is, when I took apart the side panel and removed the bolts, that released the inner bracket which holds the lever rod.  I pressure washed the tractor unaware that had happened, so I will look at this area and see if the Bushing and Spring are still there, if not I will need to replace them.

I just have to be thankful for the schematic diagram that shows this, although I should have looked at that before disassembling the tractor!
