peter lena 9,110 #4 Posted April 27 @ri702bill know its contentious , but regular leaded gas and STA BIL in all my fuels , gives me no issues at all , no fuel hose break down , debris anywhere , fuel filters are clean / clear , my starts are always fast / easy , even my vertical n line fuel check valve , is clean / clear , what is that telling you ? 1-2 ounces to every tank top off . another vital part of transition is to remove / replace the original existing line in place , clean tank that VERIFIES NO MORE HOSE BREAK DOWN , my generator sits for months with zero hose break down , yet starts instantly , no smoke or issues . also a good idea to install a 5/16 steel brake line the length of the frame , top inner corner ,frame bend , finish with swage lok fitting to hose barb . then clear fuel hose to tank / carb . only a suggestion , but if the fuel issue persists , why not eliminate it ? warning , this is definitely not in the book , my trials continue , pete
