Doubletrouble 10 #1 Posted September 14, 2009 I fitted my snowblower to my tractor today, just sort of a dry run so I knew it would work and exactly how to put it on. I notice there is a large eye bolt on the lift flag, I looked in the manual for this but it said nothing but in the tractor manual it mentions the lift assist. Is that eye bolt for that? Where does the spring hook to on the frame? And lastly, is there a way to lube the bearings on these blowers? I didn't see any grease zerks anywhere. :scratchead:
TJ 184 #2 Posted September 14, 2009 The lift spring attaches from the eye bolt forward to the brake and clutch crossbar that passes through the frame. I don't have any grease fittings on my snowblower, but I'm not sure if that is true for all models. This thread has the only picture I could find of the lift spring. http://www.wheelhorseforum.com/index.php?...l=assist+spring I hope this helps. Tom
Doubletrouble 10 #3 Posted September 14, 2009 Yes, that helped Tom,thank you. I do have the spring I just wasn't sure where to hook the one end to. I hope it makes picking up that blower alot easier. That sucker is heavy.
TJ 184 #4 Posted September 14, 2009 Glad to assist. The spring makes lifting a breeze. Tom
