Andy G 7 #1 Posted April 20 The plow blade has the model number 6 4114 9 and I'm trying to figure out (quickly, unfortunately) if it will work on my C-81? Any help is greatly appreciated! Thank you!!

gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,440 #4 Posted April 20 The 6-4114 is a 1974 model and the A-frame number. At the time the complete blade attachment came in two packages. A 42" and a 56" blade was available for larger tractors. The 42" blade sold at the time was model 6-9624 1
peter lena 9,231 #6 Posted April 20 @Andy G not only will it fit , but you can enhance its function very easily , obviousely total neglect of paint / finish , the STEERING QUADRANT AND RELATED SQUEEZE LEVER AREAS , need a detail servusing , do it up on a couple of milk crates one in back of frame the other just under / behind swing quadrant . get a roller stool , personally would soak down the entire unit with mineral oil / penetrating oil , would also turn over lower plow WEAR STRIP , the squeeze lever slide pin , lubrication is vital for rotation , like a combination of penetrating oil and aerosol red spray grease , can extension nozzle . hitch pin clips on rear of axel , swing levers . done a number of those , the movement swing difference is really amazing , pete
gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,440 #7 Posted April 20 I don't see the rear axle brackets the A-frame mounts to. Often forgotten when items change ownership.

Looks like it’s missing an “L” but that should be easily replaceable.

peter lena 9,231 #11 Posted April 20 @Andy G on the rear axel hitch , note the lever swing area , there are small 1/8 holes in the lower push down to close , side area , get a couple of HITCH PIN CLIPS , to run thru the holes , push the clips all the way thru , so they are in the last big hole area . ? the last hole will insure that they will not fall out , lubricate as you go so things work easily / stop rust , have them on my 3 units , pete 1
