854 mower deck questions

It's been a few years since I've had the deck on my 854. I went to hook it up the other day and somethings missing with the linkage. Does anyone have a picture of how the linkage is for the lift arm - maybe an old post?? Any help would be appreciated.

It should just be a rod with a 90 degree bend at the top that hooks through the hole in the lift bellcrank and is secured by a cotter pin or hairpin clip. The bottom portion of the rod is threaded and passes through the hole on the mower mounting "carriage" with either a locknut or double nuts on the bottom.

That's what I thought, but it won't even come close to reaching I'll give her a better look after work tonight.
