bell 11 #2 Posted September 14, 2009 pretty solid looking Ranger Johnny!!! The hood shouldn't be too difficult to fix...
oldandred 15 #3 Posted September 14, 2009 Like bell said solid looking and fixable hood and the duct tape on the rope handle if youre going to leave the muffler just pull it off and put a tow inch nipple a 45 and short nipple then put the muffler back. the 63 LR is one of the neatiest tractor made being as small as it is
sorekiwi 761 #4 Posted September 14, 2009 Nice looking Ranger, and with the Kohler "upgrade" too! I'd fix and paint the hood and leave the rest of it just the way it is. As "OldandRed" says, you can do something like this:
Michael Bullington 5 #5 Posted September 15, 2009 you guys and your kohler upgrades... :scratchead:
lp johnny 0 #6 Posted September 15, 2009 you guys and your kohler upgrades... ...that's the way I got it...lol even though it wasn't stock on these...the 70's models we had when I was a kid had the Kohlers..just makes it more authentic to only me... Thanks for the pic sorekiwi... even if I don't do a total repaint...the hood's a must..and the wheels...and new decals It's a neat little machine..and thanks to everyone who took the time to reply! I'd love to have a 70's B series at some point...I spent a lot of time on one as a kid..and why didn't I know at the time you could get a snow plow or blower attachment!..Thanks dad...lol..that "big ole" driveway would have been fun to clean ..rather than a back breaking chore! We did have the tiller though..
