Wondering the cause of my slow speed. Seems to be losing more speed especially on hills. Ideas?

Check your fluid level, and maybe replace your hydro filter. Correct filter is either an OEM filter 79-5270 or WIX 51410.

Condition of belt?  Condition of idler pulley and its bearing?  Is the transmission pulley tight on the shaft.

Tell us a little about your self and you tractor.

In your profile I see it says you have a hydro 15 hp. but that doesn't tell us enough about it.

The 520 was originally 20hp, so does it have a different 15hp engine?

Adjust the cam plate on the transmission and see if that's the problem. Had the same issue with one of mine.

If you 520 has been in storage for a while take a look under the plate where the shift lever is located. I had chipmunks nested there and the debris left behind prevented the shift lever from moving all the way.
