GBest 1 #1 Posted April 5 I have a Lawn Ranger and I was hoping someone could help me figure out an approximate year. It has the rounded fenders so I’m thinking it’s an early one. It has a 3 speed transmission but I am finding info that says they had 4 speed transmissions. Is this one of the very early ones? Not mine but picture for reference
ri702bill 9,083 #2 Posted April 5 Welcome!! Judging by the front axle & steering, 2 position lift quadrant, and the gas tank - yes - early, about 1962. A 4 speed is 3 speeds forward, 1 reverse. Some folks call it a 3 speed......
Terry M-(Moderator) 2,206 #3 Posted April 5 Looking at the front tires it could be a late ‘62 ..but more likely a ‘63. 1964 had the full length hood with the gas tank mounted under the hood.
kpinnc 13,916 #4 Posted April 5 Model number 32R or 33R. 1962 or 1963 recoil start. Arguably the best looking Rangers.
oliver2-44 10,443 #5 Posted April 5 A picture of your actual Lawn Range would help identify it correctly. Lots of little changes over the years that identified them. Please start a thread in the Introduction's Section and tells us about your self and your tractor.
