pbradley68 1 #1 Posted September 12, 2009 Anyone venture a guess at what this is and what it may be worth in running condition (see link below). The ad says 1948 but I don't think that can be the year and I wasn't able to find any model numbers of 1948. http://picasaweb.google.com/pauljbradley/U...645987766223938

pbradley68 1 #6 Posted September 12, 2009 The cover on the back end it says Pond. Still researching...... I checked the hood with a magnet and it it turned out to be metal. It had some cracks in the paint around where the gas filler which made me think it might have been fiberglass (and felt really light).
TT-(Moderator) 1,129 #7 Posted September 13, 2009 I'll bet money on it being a 1957 RJ-35. (but not a lot of money since I'm relatively poor ) Thee hood may have been covered with fiberglass, but I doubt that it's made entirely out of it -- unless someone was trying to replace a missing original hood. :scratchead:

pbradley68 1 #9 Posted September 13, 2009 Paul, you will have to change your quote to "why have 5 when you can have 10 at twice the price" ! He had a rough 704 so I bought the two of them for $400. The one is so small I can put it in my home office and use it as an uncomfortable desk chair while I work. LOL I put some photos of both on http://picasaweb.google.com/pauljbradley/U...743559915233842
