Okay, have you or somebody you know on here ever used almond I cannot find Navajo white near me it’s sold out and also cottage white. I guess rustoleum in my area is finicky

Almond, to me, is too dark.

As far as accessibility I very rarely purchase paint in person. I buy it from HD online normally.

One must be extremely careful purchasing paint online because a lot of the places extreme overcharge for it. I don't know why.

I'm about to try this and see how it goes. I don't usually like Krylon but we will see.

Jungle site. About $17 for two cans.

. Unfortunately if you're using rattle cans (as I do often), you're limited by what is available.

The main thing is that you enjoy what it looks like when you're done. That being said, Navajo White does look nice!

We swapped tires on one of Trina's mid-60s tractors. That navajo/cottage color was so close that dripping a little bit of it on the wheel on the inside where the sun had never seen it, we nearly lost the sample.

You'll do fine with that as a paint if you spray it in several very light coats. It does not lay out like the 2X. Once it's on, it seems like decent stuff.

I used almond on my wheels and I prefer it a bit darker. Not really into white wheels. To each his own :twocents-twocents:1771995632_PXL_20220614_170631663_MP2.jpg.fddf6196034b1dfd2e1935cbfc5edc28.jpgPXL_20220406_194949097.jpg.e8a8f58a86f848b1eaf18ceaf3c725c8.jpg

Me either.

Bright white anyways...

Gotta be a tad tan/sand colored.

All the home improvement places near me usually have it in stock and online for in-store pickup or for delivery

I've used it with good results as well. I prefer a little lighter but it looks good.

Brockport Bill

i have used variations of the almond, ivory, white etc for different models - - all look good but of course depends how closely you intend to match a "factory original" color ???

-- strictly personal preference -  i suppose to some degree its dependent how often you want to wash the rims? Ha Ha

wh rims wheel - black.jpg

Best bet. Seriously.

Buy both. Try one on each rear wheel after PROPER PREP.

Whatever color is your personal preference is the winner.

Stick with the same brand and you'll be able to spray the preference color right over the other.

That's a win win for several reasons.

You'll need 3+ coats anyway.

You'll get the right color FOR YOU.

You'll spend an extra few bucks experimenting but have the non preferred color  as a base layer so it isn't wasted.
