Red Iron 1 #1 Posted September 9, 2009 It's that time of year, well, anytime I want to use it! My 244H hitched up to the Cyclone Rake Top vent is open (held with velcro & 1 zipper) is hanging over the side. Not really need to flip it to clean it, just to show how big it is. That dump cart is from Meijer store, but with lawn sweeper wheels on it, since I overloaded it with rocks and blew the original tires out. For those hard to reach places, I have 15 ft long vacuum with 6" hose. The vent is closed and rear flaps closed. For those hard to reach places, a 15ft vacuum "wand" with 6" hose will pick up more than I want- like stones. I've not really used this wand much, but nice to have. Top vent is closed and rear is closed up. Velcro in the right places makes it great, either hold it closed for vacuuming or open while dumping. This is how the hitch is set up, jack-knife free while backing up. That hole under the chute of blower (over engine) is a safety vent in case of "overfilling", it starts "spitting" grass/leaves sideways to let me know I need to dump it! I'm holding the vent hood up, not going to stand here while running! Metal grid keeps it from bowing out the rubber mesh screen. Velco strips all around, except at leading edge (towards front) is zippered. A baffle inside keeps blower from blowing directly on the vent. Both hoses, deck adaptor stores nicely inside the unit when not in use. It does fold up, blower/engines has own casters for "under bench" storage. I just leave it up all the time. Rusty_Tractor 0 #2 Posted September 9, 2009 Hehe, for a second I thought that was my yard and tractor. I too have a Cyclone Rake with all the attachments. The problem is I have a 42" rear discharge deck. I guess I will be blowing leaves into piles and sucking them up with the big green nozzle. Cheers, Jamie
