I have seen this "extra" guard on one other tractor, but can't remember why it was there. Can somebody jog my memory?

Looks like it's pretty close to Karl too. (a lot of $ though)

That is an interesting belt guard. It's about an hour and change away so not terribly far.

Kelly, you're a genius!

That's it! -- the model # 7-2611 lawn vacuum!

Here it is for all to see: (this is a little newer version)

I can't find the model no. right now, But it's like a trac vac. The blower mounts to the snow plow bracket and a chute attaches to the deck with a tube going to the blower then to the trailer. the footrest has a hole in it for the belt to run back to another pulley setup at the rear end. I can't belive I know something TT didn't

I edited my last post because I couldn't find an online IPL for the older vacuum.

I knew I saw that set-up before, but couldn't remember what it was for.

Good job, Kelly! "You Da Man!"

Good job on the ID there Kelly!

I think Terry "TT Hawkeye" must be running low octane tonight or decaf?

I was going to say tiller myself  but then recalled they run the tiller drive belt right along the drive belt guard...not down.

My tiller belt goes strait down to the mid attach were the pulley set up mounts then strait back under the axle to the tiller.

The early "late 60's early 70's?" PTO driven tillers ran a belt right along the drive belt guard....weird setup.

All the idler pullies sat at the back of the tractor underneath.

Here's what I found in the "big red book":

7-2613.jpg

Notice the difference in the "extra" guard compared to the one on the ebay Raider. (I hope you can see it well enough  )

I'm guessing the Raider had one of the older vacuums mounted to it (7-2611 or 7-2612) but I can't find any "drawings" for those models in my books or online, so if anyone has a picture of either or both, I'd like to see what the differences are.
