Metal Blender 8 #1 Posted August 5, 2024 (edited) My 312-h deck cuts fine but it is hard to put on the deck. Is the lift bar supposed to be bent or not? The manual doesn't help because the bar can look almost straight if I move it to other positions. Edited August 5, 2024 by Metal Blender attachments

Skwerl58 761 #3 Posted August 6, 2024 Good pictures! No it is not supposed to be bent. Take it apart and you should be able to straighten it so that it fits properly.
peter lena 9,238 #4 Posted August 6, 2024 @Metal Blender have avery solid vise / bench ? personally , a 12 / 14 " pipe wrench , and a 4 ft pipe on that , would easily tweak that back in to place . your initial solid hold down area , is vital against the pipe wrench / leverage set up . done a lot of that , solid leverage , easily wins out . pete

I bought the 312-h like this so thank you for the info. I will straighten it in a few minutes then cut an acre and a half, It cuts great, so I'm curious to see any differences in performance after it's straightened out. lol
