Wheel horse tiller.

Recommended Posts

I have a wheel horse tiller I’d like to fix up. I ordered the main bearings and seals but I would like to go ahead and replace all the other bearings in it while I’m at it. The model plate is long gone. It’s 36” from what I can tell. Would anyone have part numbers for the remaining bearings?

@Torrence20   what ever you do , use a CLIMBING GEAR OIL / LUBE , LUCAS has them , the fling / spray , has been very effective in all my related gear units , ease of operation , dramatic noise reduction , also pay attention to related belt drive pulleys , linkage  for ease of movement . pete

@Torrence20  very often refer to anything related to , a failure point , personally do a regular look see , on my units , check for anything , another regular  thing I do , is to get after anything thats not  working as it should . have regularly ,made a change at point of issue , and regularly verify how it reacting to the change made , because I have a regular , inspection , anything thats not working as it should , stands out . when I shut down my , tractor , always  top off tank , always add  STA BIL  , 1 ounce , to that fuel , always check trans fluid , later check oil / condition , never let something , build up , that will be your mind set , that can quickly  turn into a  number of uncorrected problems . been doing  this over 40 years , lots of  issues eliminated , realise everyone has a different way of  dealing with repetitive problems , personally , thats what I want , leads me right to the problem , and the change of it ,  pete
