snow plow on a 520h 1994

Hooking up a snow plow on a 520h cannot see how to hook up lift do you hook to linkage with chain or to flat arm coming down

Do you have the extension kit for the rear of the snow plow frame?

I downloaded book but my attach point does no line up with the mower deck lift it looks like it hooks up on other side lift point

Is your problem front to rear or left to right?  The 520H has the swept front axle so a snow plow needs to be moved forward so the tires do not hit it.  If you don't have the very rare plow made to fit, you need the kit to extend the plow forward.  Here is a link to one such kit.

Default is by chain to the intermediate lift bar and then a solid link from the lift bar to the plow frame. However, a solid link direct from the rock shaft arm to the plow frame is an option.

The chain relies on the plow’s weight for scraping (i.e. no down force is possible)

The solid link does have the option of downforce, but with a 520’s lift control (i.e. it does not have a “float” position) it is quite a trick to modulate height/pressure (too hard and you wear out the plow and driveway; too soft and you miss stuff)
