adsm08 3,138 #1 Posted June 25, 2024 I have a 319 8hp Briggs from an 800 Special that is currently equipped with a weak starter/generator. I am repurposing the engine to an application that has no need for a generator, since this is a magneto ignition, and it would just work better in general if this thing was a pull start.
