Dresden Guy 24 #1 Posted September 1, 2009 I am going to look at a 516-H today and I have read a few things that they may have some issues.... hydro pumps not available anymore??? I am in a quandry as to buy this unit or stay away. Someone out there knows WAY more than I do and I could use your advice. Waiting to hear from you Thanks Steve in OH 211-H
truckin88 104 #2 Posted September 1, 2009 is the hydro servicable on these? How many hours, what is the condition. I am more partial to the Kohler powered GT's, but the 520 is an amazing machine.
kj4kicks 154 #3 Posted September 1, 2009 Steve, If nothing else, it's an easy swap to replace the weaker Eaton 700 with a stronger 1100. E.
T-Mo-(Moderator) 4,599 #4 Posted September 1, 2009 I'm not sure where you're located, but I have a spare Eaton 700 that's free to a good home. So you could have a spare tranny. :scratchead:
Horse Fanatic 51 #5 Posted September 1, 2009 I have one, I use it every week to mow my grass, runs great and have not had a problem with the trans, but I have a Eaton 1100 here if I ever do. If the price is right, I wouldn't hesitate to buy it.
