Alamobrady30 47 #1 Posted June 3, 2024 I have a 1054 with a 48" deck. I got the deck installed ( no blades when got tractor ) and when I went to look for blades it's like hens teeth. What are guys out there doing when you have the infamous 3/4" x 5/8" DD blades that are 16" long. I found blades 14" and a 18" blade. Read that the 16" are discontinued and not available aftermarket. Does somebody make an adapter to adapt the 6point star hole blades to the DD spindle? Just curious what people have done. Won't use it as a mower but still nice to have it complete and ready to go incase my primary breaks down. Thanks in advance.
953 nut 59,814 #2 Posted June 3, 2024 I have never done this but believe you could swap out your DD spindles for a set from a newer deck and use the 3/4" hole blades.

I will have to look into this. Make sure the spindle mounts and depth are the same. Thanks for the idea.
JimSraj 511 #4 Posted June 4, 2024 You might want to check with A-Z Tractor for a set. Lincoln had some NOS in the past.
