1977 C-120 plow install

Hi there,

anyone have any diagrams on how best to hook up the plow same to the lift assembly? I found one online for a chain style but I have a rod. I got it work currently but just want to know if it’s correct?

 

any help is greatly appreciated!!

If it lifts it around 5" or more off the ground and lowers to the ground you should be fine.  There's usually some wiggle room for adjustment but that's the general idea of what you are going for.

That looks similar to the lift rod for the 60’s RM geared mower decks. The solid plow links I’ve seen were flat bars with clevis pins at the ends.

I’m also a bit concerned about the angle it’s at (I’d expect it to be more vertical). Can you get a picture from the side that shows the plow frame and the lift attach point? Someone with more plow experience will chime in.
