pimpo 6 #1 Posted June 1, 2024 518-H gas shutoff I'd like to clean the shutoff valve but am unsure how to get it off the tank. Can anyone help? Thanks.
wallfish 18,154 #2 Posted June 1, 2024 Here's what it looks like off the tank. Once it's removed, it's best to replace the grommet because it will most likely leak. Order a whole new valve and grommet and be done with it IMO. s-l1600.webp
lynnmor 7,833 #3 Posted June 1, 2024 It would be a good time to pull the tank and flush it. While the tank is off, clean everything so the transmission cools properly and to stop the rust.
