Wheelhorse#1 1,829 #1 Posted June 1, 2024 Was wondering if anybody has found a decent after market muffler? I haven’t found a decent salt n pepper type that’s not too loud. It’s going on a k181 B-80 tractor so space is kinda limited. Not looking for a stack type really. The C81 style Nelson muffler is the opposite. Yes Sir The Nelson is a quality muffler.Too bad there not around anymore.Makes a 8hp sound like a big block,nice quiet rumble. ebinmaine 72,426 #4 Posted June 1, 2024 The smallest quiet muffler I've found is a replacement for the older Gravely. Piped correctly you could likely get one under the hood. Point it down, space isn't an issue.
