mike avad 46 #1 Posted May 18, 2024 Could someone tell me who this carburetor is made by number is B231739 is this a good one ? the guy I got my 76 wheel horse with a K-181s in it give me this carburetor and said this one came off the 181 would like to make sure. ri702bill 9,348 #4 Posted May 18, 2024 Mike - there is a 2 digit raised number in the throttle bore of the casting that denotes the size of the bore. Should be a 20 or 22. IF it is a 18 it is from a 7 HP K161 and has a smaller bore. It too will work, but you do not get full HP output - too restrictive. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
mike avad 46 #5 Posted May 18, 2024 ok I just wanted to know is this the right carb for this K 181s that should belong on this engine there was a carb on this and it did't have thing stamp on it at all so I took it off to replace with the one I post the number for. the y I got my B-80 from had the carb that was on it but he replace with a after market. soor am not good at tell something.
