Imakecups 8 #1 Posted May 11, 2024 I got a 417-A with a 42” deck for free and after some TLC it is up and running strong. Now I picked up a plow and snowblower. Does this hobby stop at some point? 6

87 416-8 horse 423 #3 Posted May 11, 2024 (edited) It goes from a hobby to an addiction. Once you get one you’ll always need another. That looks like a pretty sweet machine, blower, and blade. Edited May 11, 2024 by 87 416-8 horse
Ed Kennell 42,047 #5 Posted May 11, 2024 to the Looks like it has the hydraulic lift so it will have the Eaton 1100 hydro. The Eaton 1100 and the Kohler twin 17 are a great combo for a snow machine.

She has 5 from the mid 60s. I have 8 from the mid 70s. We've done half a dozen full frame off nut n bolt restorations. To us it's FAR more than a hobby. We repair them. We build them. We maintain them. More importantly.. we USE them. We have several implements. All our restored tractors are put to great task. Hobby? Sure. And also a practical way of life using our permanent equipment.
