whtractors24 Â Â 3,374 #1 Posted May 5, 2024 I went with @AMC RULESÂ on a 1200-mile journey on backroads through five states led us to vintage wheel horse dealers, both closed and open. We learned about their history and met incredible people, solidifying this trip as one of my favorites. We even returned home with a never-sold 1986 420-LSE #100-200 built . The machine had been at Eckert Bros inc since 1986 until they closed in 2018. 3

OutdoorEnvy   1,776 #8 Posted May 5, 2024 Excellent trip guys!  Good on you for making it happen!  Heck of a find on that 420 too.  Makes you wonder how many more dealer goodies are out there somewhere.  Thanks for the share and pics!

OoPEZoO Â Â 572 #12 Posted May 5, 2024 Wow...thats awesome. Â So are all those old horses just sitting out in that field to rot, are they parting them out, or....???? Â
JoeM   8,357 #13 Posted May 5, 2024 What a nice trip and a great purchase. That LSE is in good hands......hopefully we will get to see it at the show?  That field of horses reminds me of a couple I ran across and the people just won't sell. If they do they want big bucks.
