Model # question

Hello all,

I need some help trying to identify an wheelhorse I have. The model number on the tag is 5-2322 which comes up as a 1969 32" deck. No other tag to be found. Has anyone ever seen one of these. It has a 7 horse kohler.

if it's a 1969 m0del it could be a  "  Work Horse 700 or a Commando  V7"

Yep, so it can’t be a V7

Yep.     If it has a 7 hp Kohler, it could be a 1963 model 753   with a 1969 deck plate.

1963 would be a round hood.

’73 Ranger 700 or ’76-’77 B-60?

Can't be  a B-60 they were 8 speeds with the C style hood .

Pretty sure that steering wheel is 68-69 but square hoods aren't my specialty. I'm going with 1968 or 69 Commando 8 but maybe, just maybe it's possible it's a repowered 500 special since it's a 7hp Kohler. Those Teccy engines just didn't last as long and don't think WH powered anything with K161 past 1964. Sad if one of those 500 specials were painted over but,,,

Tag is probably painted over too so take a good look on the hood stand for it. That will settle it for sure.

Definitely not a 70's tractor with that hood.

The ID tag pictured is the one under the dash. I do not have the deck to it. And the tag is original. But the number came up as the mower deck. I have read some where that wheel horse made a few Economy tractors that had no model number. Didn't know if there was any truth to it.
