In have a c141 just getting it done and ready for winter, front wheel weights and rear., plastic type. 30lb in front 50lb in rear. :thumbs2::thumbs: so my question is what would be the first year of the 14hp. I have a 1977 catalog and it is not in there???????? t/u for you time.T1257 AKA Gary B.................................

1978 was the first year of the C-141. I think it was only produced for 2 years( 78-79). A 1977 would be a C-140 and a 1980 was a C-145.

Mike,

Ironically Wheel Horse never made a C-140. There was a C-120 and a C-160, but no C-140. And yes, the C-141 was made only two years, 1978 and 1979.

Gary. I have a 1977 C-120 along with the original owners manual. The Kohler in mine is a 12hp.

I really don't understand your question but I could look in my manual to try to assist you. If I am correct, you are trying to find out when the Kohler 14 began to be put in a Wheel Horse. Let me know.

The first year the 14hp Kohler was used on a WH was 1969...GT-14.... :scratchead:
