CasualObserver 3,411 #2 Posted September 1, 2009 Bump.... I was watching this hoping for a reply. I'm mildly interested in doing the same. Have a Charger 9 and access to a lift kit from a C-160. It appears that the Charger 9 used the Sunstrand 90-2046, as did later Chargers and the Bronco 14... both of which were able to be equipped with a hydraulic lift. The C-160 also used a Sunstrand, but it was a 90-1140. Anyone got opinions and/or advice on this? Any reason it shouldn't just bolt up? I know diddly about hydro stuff... so pictures are always nice! :hide:
nylyon-(Admin) 7,880 #3 Posted September 1, 2009 Well I have no idea about this specific question BUT the C-120 which Eldon has was fitted with a hydraulic lift kit. I don't have the specific part number, but WH sold a kit to convert the 120's to hydraulic lift. Maybe check the parts viewer in the accessories for a 77 C-120, and get the IPL for the kit. If I recall correctly, aside from the obvious, there is a spring and check ball to be installed in the hydro, then the lines, valve and cylinder. Not sure if this helps or not?
