fourwheelhorseman 355 #1 Posted April 6, 2024 My left hand front tire on my 753 has no less that 4 plugs in it, it leaks air as fast as I put it in. Anyhow, not knowing anyone around my area that collects wheelhorses, oem is most likely out of the question. What’s a good option for a replacement front tire other than a tri-rib. I’m wanting to go for the original tread design if possible. Thanks!

ri702bill 9,462 #3 Posted April 6, 2024 If you plow with that 753, AG tires up front are a good choice - better steering in the snow.
pfrederi 18,696 #4 Posted April 6, 2024 If it is a plugged tubeless how about putting in a tube???

I did think about that and may do that, but I’d sure like to get a replacement. Ideally, I’d like to find one used in someone’s barn..or even a parts machine. What with age cracking etc yo would probably want to tube it also...

I put tubes in ALL the tires we swap nowadays. Old reinstallation or newly mounted off the shelf.
fourwheelhorseman 355 #11 Posted April 6, 2024 It’s bad man… I THINK the plugs are an attempt to fill in big cracks. I’ll take a few pics in a bit
Lee1977 7,216 #12 Posted April 6, 2024 Goodyear stopped making those around 50 or more years ago. Save yourself some problems and buy two new matching 4.80 x 8 4ply tires. 1
