Good day members!!

I am curious to hear from you folks.

Looking to replace my cutting edge.

I was able to make one with some scrap metal I had hanging around but the material seems a bit soft.

Any suggestions on where to buy new?

Thanks in advance.

I have had good results using 3/8" thick hot rolled steel. Size it so the holes run up the middle so it is reversable.

Holes - hot rolled is a total PITA to drill, so be advised.

Check with McMaster-Carr..... Or if you have a local Metal Supermarket.

Some folks have switched to urethane or plastic - your choice....

I found a welding shop that had an iron worker with the correct square hole punch. I paid a little more for the metal there. But it sure worked out good for them to use the old blade as a template to punch through.
