ri702bill 7,361 #6 Posted January 21 Be SURE the throttle cable clamp SECURELY grips the outer casing of the cable sheath. If it slips, you will be chasing your tail trying to get it right... wallfish 15,940 #7 Posted January 21 If you use needle nose pliers and bend the edges of those clamps in just a little they will stick harder to the conduit. Then to move them you can spin it on the conduit like screw threads. 3 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
wallfish 15,940 #8 Posted January 21 (edited) The conduit jacket gave on this one and let the wire conduit slide right up to the arm on the disk. = No throttle Use a razor knife and remove that portion of the jacket and clamp right to the metal conduit. You might need to bend the edges of the clamp as above to grab that smaller diameter wire conduit. I put on a new clamp, adjusted the position, and turned the arm counterclockwise a few hairs widths. I think it'll work better now.
