Fire_rescue_18 0 #1 Posted August 20, 2009 I have a 310-8 that has a bad carb. I cant find one anywhere!! Is it an easy swap if I find an M12??What engines will bolt up easily??
kpinnc 10,773 #2 Posted August 20, 2009 I won't try and tell you what to do with your machine, but a Kohler carb would be easy to find on Ebay, and carb kits are VERY easy to install as well- if you decided to fix yours. You can buy a carb kit from NAPA of all places for about $12. But to answer your question, a M10, M12, M14, or even M16 will be a easy swap. Also a K241, K301, K321, or K341 would be the same thing. Any of these engines will swap with your M10. Kevin
Fire_rescue_18 0 #3 Posted August 20, 2009 The throttle shaft is worn and sucking air. I have looked all over ebay and various other sites to get a shaft and bushing kit or replcement carb. No luck!! It's my only tractor and I need it runing asap. Price is not important.
